The Intuitive Personality

Do you want to improve your intuition?  Myers Briggs personality type INFJ is naturally intuitive.  However, we all have all the components of the intuitive personality and can learn to access them for intuition if we don’t already

Intuitive types find their energy and information within.  So when you wish to tap into intuition, go within first, into your imagination and your thoughts.  Even if you are generally extraverted, you can turn inward and talk to yourself rather than others for a while.

While using inner awareness you turn away from the external senses for the moment and tune in to the sight, sound, and feelings of your imagination.  This information seems to take on a life of its own, being based on subconscious cues and feelings rather than outward senses.  If you are not used to accessing intuition, it may seem a bit unreal to you.

Since we are accessing intuition, which is internal information,  Your feelings about the question usually give a lot of the story. If you were on a jury, you would evaluate evidence, but intuitive judgment does not improve with equivocation and weighing options.

Receiving intuitive information is one place where making a snap judgment is appropriate.  It is preferable to perceiving.  When intuiting an answer, the first guess is most likely the correct one. Jump to a conclusion.

So, now, try this and see how it compares to your usual method of intuition.

When you get quiet and listen to your inner voice, what do you hear?

When you ignore your outer senses and go for the most obvious inner information, what do you think the answer it?

On top of that, how do you feel about the answer? Do your feelings say yes or no?  Right or wrong?

Are you debating about an answer?  Never mind what your outer senses tell you.  Make a snap judgment!
