Where Does Your Energy Go When You Fail to Create an Intention?
Failure to Launch intentions or dreams is exceptionally common. If it were easy to solve, we would all have realized our dearest wishes ages ago!
Is there an intention which has been on your to do list for days?…weeks? ,,,,even years? I have known of some desires and intentions which failed to be realized, period. Many, if not most of us have a dream or several that we never followed up on. It may be too much to say we even went so far as to set an intention. We abandon those dreams for a number of reasons.
If you gave up on a dream and failed to create it, you probably know why you did. When you planned and acted but still failed to create your intention, it is a little less obvious. The energy didn’t go where you expected it to go. What causes the failure may be something you are not even conscious of.

Your feelings will guide you to find out where the energy goes when it’s out of alignment. You can recover that energy that stops you and use it to create what you want. There are a number of ways to determine where your energy goes, but it’s as simple as considering what you intended and what happened instead.
What Causes the Blocks to Creating Intentions?
What causes the failure to launch of certain dreams and intentions? Especially important dreams that got buried. The short answer is fear, but there are typical ways that energy mutates from a simple desire, to a protection against fear. The desire for love is put in place because of a fear of loneliness. The intention to succeed is based on a fear of failure. We are likely to be unaware of these mutations. They tend to speak to us in the voices of our families and we take their correctness for granted.
Aligning Your Energy with the Creation of your Intention
To dissolve blocks to creating intentions, you need to work with feelings rather than thoughts. Where Does Your Energy Go? Zoom meditation on February 8, comes just before the new moon, which is a good time to create new things. We will practice some easy steps for identifying blocks, noticing unconscious fears and identifying counter intentions that could make a surprise appearance when we were expecting our dream to materialize.
Sometimes simply identifying the underground feelings and counter intentions and dragging them into awareness, can take the power out of those blocks and improve life. There is more energy available, fewer buried bad feelings, no creepy undercurrents. You’re likely to be happier and more productive.
Should You Try Again with A Failed Intention?
Failed intentions are usually quite important intentions. If a dream has been buried and ignored for a while, it has a lot of energy tied up in it. It isn’t productive to use that energy for failure to launch an intention. Addressing it can free that energy for creating…whatever …but creating something you really like! Once the reasons for failure to launch are recognized, the intention can be seen clearly for what it is. Usually this is a point at which the intention is automatically back on the to do list because it was a creation you really would love. Don’t be surprised if you uncover blocks, only to find that the failed intention is past its sell by date.
If your failed intention no longer seems relevant, there is very probably a new version of your dream soon to be discovered. This new one can be nurtured more carefully so you can create a life you love.
