“Of course!” you say, I know how to feel. Who doesn’t ?
We meet face to face on screens these days, or we talk over phones. Processing information visually or through hearing is most efficient.
The teachers at the metaphysical church say thoughts are things. But, only if you’re thinking with the whole body/mind/spirit and not just your head. If you are seeking to fulfill an intention, you will get much farther with your feelings.
It may be you have feelings you don’t want to have, so you distract yourself from them when you can.
But even uncomfortable feelings are messengers that bring you information you need.Fear tells you to pay attention, prepare, keep safe.Anger tells you where your boundaries are.Sadness encourages you to let go and make room for something new.
If you wish to access your intuition, you’ll need your feelings and not just thoughts. Intuition often comes through those sensations that say, “Turn here,”“Look at that!”“That doesn’t add up!” or “Step on the brake!”There is evidence that the body responds just an instant before the mind registers an event. Keep that feeling pipeline open.
Periodically, drop your awareness into your center, just above your navel.Not only is it easier to feel feelings, but you are stronger when centered this way and you are grounded and stable.If you have feelings you don’t like, just feel them.They will pass, and usually pretty quickly.
If you respond with more unpleasant versions of feelings, like fight, flight or freeze, you may want to consider trauma therapy.
If you want to manifest something new in your life, get into how it feels to experience it.Can’t visualize?Don’t bother That’s putting the cart before the horse, no matter what the popular sources tell you.Feel what it will be like to have realized your intention.That’s what makes it real.If it doesn’t feel great, check out and deal with your resistance to it, until you can feel into it without any “yeah, but”s.
Let the energy of your feelings flow. It is E-Motion! As soon as you turn off Zoom, attend to your feelings. Get in the habit of noticing how things feel. You will get into the habit of fulfilling your intentions!
